Finance Office

The Finance Office will do budgeting and fundraising to support the operation of the Council and its publishing and media needs.  Its job description includes:

1) construct the Council budget

2) raise funds for the Council

3) keep the books and manage the accounts

4) direct the work of a sub-committee for strategic planning for structural change within the Archdiocese (duties listed below)

Strategic Planning

1) understand fully the concerns of the faithful that need to be addressed

2) understand fully the current structures and politics of the institutional local church

3) distinguish between structures that can be set up by the people to address their concerns and structures that need implementation from the Archdiocesan or Roman decision-makers

4) design concrete ways to impact the current structure to address the concerns of the faithful

5) research options for alternate ecclesial structures
